Which parts of your customer communication could WhatsApp automate?
Answer a few questions about how your team handles customer communication and see which parts of it could potentially be automated with WhatsApp — and which should stay with a person.
First — what does your organization do?
It doesn't change the score, only how the result is written.
Most teams know the feeling: the same handful of questions all day, status updates typed one by one, the same details asked at the start of every conversation. Some of that is genuinely repeatable, and some of it only looks that way. This scanner asks about your industry, how many colleagues answer customers, how many conversations you handle, why people get in touch, which notifications you send by hand, whether details are collected manually, how conversations get routed, and what you have connected to your CRM, ERP or webshop. You pick the use cases you're curious about — order status, delivery updates, appointment reminders, lead qualification, intake, FAQs, routing and the rest — and get an opportunity score out of 100, an estimated potential from Low to Very High, the three to five processes that look most suitable, grouped under Centralize, Automate and Integrate, with what happens manually today, what could be automated, and what operational difference it could make. It also names the conversations worth keeping with a colleague. No contact details, no sign-up, and the full result is on the screen.
Frequently asked questions
How is the opportunity score calculated?
Every answer carries a weight — team size, conversation volume, how repetitive the questions are, how often customers ask for status, how many notifications are typed by hand, whether details are collected manually, how much routing is involved, what is connected to your systems, and what you use for WhatsApp today. Those add up to a score out of 100, which maps to an estimated potential of Low, Moderate, High or Very High. Nothing about your industry changes the score; it only shapes the wording of the result.
Does this tell me how much money I would save?
No, and deliberately so. Savings depend on wages, volumes, how your processes actually run and what you build — none of which this scanner can see. Every benefit it names is operational: fewer look-ups per conversation, fewer status questions, context already in view when a colleague joins.
What do Centralize, Automate and Integrate mean here?
They're the three kinds of change the recommendations fall into. Centralize is about getting conversations into one place and to the right colleague. Automate is about letting repeatable messages and flows run on their own. Integrate is about connecting the conversation to the systems that already hold the answer — your CRM, ERP, DMS or webshop. Most organizations find their opportunities land in more than one group.
Why does it tell me what not to automate?
Because the fastest way to make automation unpopular is to put it in front of a complaint. Escalations, negotiation, unusual cases and sensitive financial or personal matters are worth keeping with a colleague — and any flow you do build needs a clear route to a person, or it becomes a dead end.
Do I need the WhatsApp Business Platform for any of this?
For most of it, yes. The free WhatsApp Business App is designed around one person on one phone, so automated notifications, conversational flows and connections to your own systems generally need the WhatsApp Business Platform. If you're on the free app or not using WhatsApp yet, the result says so as its own opportunity rather than pretending the rest can happen without it.
Is the result a technical assessment?
No. It's an indication based on your answers. What is actually possible depends on your processes, the systems you run, your WhatsApp setup and the technical requirements that come with them — including what WhatsApp itself allows for outbound messages.
Do you store my answers?
We keep an anonymous record of completed scans — the options you picked, the score and which opportunities came out — to see how the scanner is used. There's no sign-up, and we never ask for your name, email or company to show you the result.
Where does the AI come in?
The score, the potential band, the opportunities and the human-first list are calculated from your answers, not generated. AI rewrites the explanations in your language so they refer back to what you told us. If the AI is unavailable you still get the complete result with the built-in wording.
